Return and Refund Policy

Scope
This policy applies to all plumbing, roofing, drain cleaning, waterproofing, and related building services provided by MoovCast Plumbing & Building Services Sdn Bhd. Because our offerings are professional services rather than physical goods, the concept of "returns" applies in the context of unsatisfactory workmanship or incomplete service delivery.
Satisfaction Commitment
We strive to deliver every project to the highest standard. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, we ask that you notify us in writing within fourteen (14) days of project completion. We will arrange a site inspection at no additional charge to assess the concern and determine the appropriate resolution.
Warranty Rectification
For issues that fall within the scope of our workmanship warranty (as stated in your quotation or contract), we will carry out remedial work at no cost to you. Warranty periods are as follows:
- Standard plumbing repairs: 6 months
- Drain cleaning: 30 days (blockage recurrence at the same location)
- Roofing repair and re-roofing: 12 to 24 months
- Waterproofing systems: 12 to 24 months

Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Work was not commenced after payment of a deposit, and the client cancels before scheduling — a full deposit refund will be issued.
- Work was partially completed and abandoned by MoovCast without justification — a pro-rata refund for uncompleted portions will be calculated and issued.
- Repeated warranty claims on the same defect remain unresolved after two rectification attempts — a partial refund proportional to the defective portion may be offered at our discretion.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will generally not be provided where:
- The completed work meets the agreed specification and industry standards, even if the client's expectations differ from the quoted scope.
- Damage has been caused by third parties, misuse, structural movement, or events beyond our control after project handover.
- The client prevented or delayed access for scheduled warranty inspection.
Refund Process
Approved refunds are processed within twenty-one (21) business days. Refunds are issued via bank transfer to the account from which the original payment was made. We will confirm the refund amount and expected timeline in writing.
Dispute Resolution
If a disagreement cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator before pursuing legal proceedings. This policy is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
